You’re a 20-something-year-old working at a grocery store. You hate your job, and that’s all you do. Is this really all that life has to offer? The protagonist quits his job and returns home for the evening, lies down on his bed, and stares at the ceiling with a blank state of mind. After doing this for a while, the protagonist, out of self-hatred, builds enough disappointment to force himself to stand up and finally do something about his life. He exits his room and walks outside, searching for at least something, an answer to his needs.
